Sylvia Cottage is centrally situated in the tranquil residential area of Claremont Upper (Southern Suburbs ) within walking distance of the Cavendish Square shopping centre. It is close to both the Newlands Rugby and Cricket grounds and within easy reach of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and lovely mountain walks.

Only 20 minutes drive to Cape Town City Centre / the V&A Waterfront / Table Mountain cable car / Cape Town International Airport / beaches on both the Indian and the Atlantic ocean and also with easy access to Cape Point and the Winelands.

Sylvia Cottage is a self-catering free standing cottage which accommodates up to 4 people. It offers 2 en-suite bedrooms, with either 2 comfortable single beds or 1 king size. The spacious lounge, equipped with satellite TV leads to a private patio garden.

The dining room is open plan to a fully equipped kitchen (including washing machine). Garden furniture and braai facilities are provided. There is a single garage with direct access into the cottage. There is a security alarm and private armed response.

Directions

• Take the N2 from the airport towards Cape Town. As you near the mountain
• keep to the left and take the turnoff Kirstenbosch/Rhodes Drive M3 towards Muizenberg.
• Pass UCT on the right and then through traffic lights (watch
  speed limit changes to 60 and there is a camera at the traffic lights!)
• Keep in left lane pass next traffic lights and drive past Shell garage (Paradise Motors) and take off ramp Claremont which takes you to a traffic circle (Protea Circle).
• Take 2nd road to the left at the circle Newlands Road you will pass one set of pedestrian lights and just before the next
  set of traffic lights turn right into Sylvia Road.
• The cottage is no 11A just before the Eden Road intersection.
