Town Accommodation - Rondebosch Guest Cottages
Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain and just below the
University of Cape Town, the self-catering Rondebosch Guest
Cottages, fully equipped and serviced, are located in a
peaceful and secure Close. They are only a 10 minutes drive from
the airport and Cape Town city centre with the V&A Waterfront,
yet central to all local amenities and easy walking distance to
Newlands rugby and cricket grounds.
The seven
guest cottages can accommodate a total of 30
visitors in comfortable style. Each cottage has a modern
fully equipped kitchen, which includes a microwave and
washing machine, and a dishwasher in Moon House.
Two
sets of linen and towels are provided, and all the
cottages have MNet, TV, telephones and even hairdryers.
Each cottage has a sunny patio or garden with a
barbecue. The cottages are serviced twice weekly.
Sunset, Coney, Parsley and Sage cottages
each accommodate four people, with a possible
fifth in Coney.
They have a double bed in the main bedroom with bathroom
en-suite, two single beds in the second bedroom, and a
family shower-room. The reception areas are all
inter-leading or open-plan, with comfortable sitting
areas and a dining room table.
Wood and Mouse cottages each accommodate a
couple. Wood is a spacious one bedroom cottage with a
garage, while Mouse is a large studio cottage. Both have
patios with built-in barbecues.
Moon House can accommodate up to nine people. There are
two ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms as well as
a large suite on the first floor. Moon has a patio
garden with a plunge pool, a garage and additional
parking for two cars. Moon house can be let to smaller
parties of people during off season, by closing off one
or two bedrooms.
